Our Family Experience
Our family enjoys water activities, so visiting this spa water park felt like a perfect weekend outing.
We arrived shortly after opening time at around 9:30 AM, which allowed us to enjoy the facilities before they became crowded.
The first attraction we tried was the lazy river, which slowly moves visitors along a circular water path. This area was relaxing and enjoyable for both adults and children.
Because the water comes from natural hot springs, it felt comfortably warm even during winter.

The Exciting River (Stronger Lazy River)
One attraction I was particularly curious about was the Exciting River, a stronger version of the lazy river that requires life jackets.
However, the area was smaller than I expected.
Although it was still fun, families with younger children may find the regular lazy river or warm spa pools more enjoyable.
We rented life jackets but ended up using them for only about 30 minutes before returning to the main pool area.
Kid-Friendly Facilities

One of the best aspects of Asan Spavis is that it is designed to accommodate families with children.
There is an indoor bade pool area with small play structures and shallow pools for kids.
Because the water temperature is warm, children can play comfortably for a long time.
During our visit, our younger child even fell asleep briefly in the warm spa pool area, which shows how relaxing the environment can be.
Our older child enjoyed using the small slides and water play structures independently.
Outdoor Hot Spring Pools

Another highlight of the spa was the outdoor hot spring pool area.
Even though it was winter, the warm water made it possible to enjoy the outdoor pools without feeling cold.
This combination of cool air and warm mineral water created a very relaxing atmosphere.
Many visitors simply sit in the hot spring pools and enjoy the scenery while soaking in the warm water.
How Crowded Was It?
We visited on a Sunday morning.
Because we arrived early, the facilities were not overly crowded.
The lazy river had enough space for families to move comfortably without constant collisions between tubes.
However, during the summer season or peak holiday periods, the park may become significantly busier.
Our Visit Summary
We entered the spa around 9:30 AM and stayed until approximately 2:30 PM.
In total, we spent about five hours enjoying the pools and spa areas.
Although some attractions such as the wave pool and water slides were not operating during the winter season, the warm hot spring pools still made the visit worthwhile.
For families with children who enjoy water activities, this place can be a relaxing and enjoyable destination.
Tips for Visiting Asan Spavis
Arrive early to avoid crowds on weekends.
Use the parking lot located on the right side of the main entrance, which is closer to the entrance.
Check seasonal schedules before visiting, since some outdoor attractions operate only during warmer months.
Bring your own conditioner and personal skincare products if you prefer specific brands.
Final Thoughts
Overall, our visit to Asan Spavis was a pleasant family outing.
While it may not have the largest water slides compared to major theme parks, it offers a different experience with warm natural hot spring water and a relaxing spa environment.
For travelers or families looking for a family-friendly hot spring near Seoul, Asan Spavis can be a comfortable and enjoyable destination.
